  ....my book is closed, i read no more, watching the fire dance on the floor, i've left my book, i've left my room......

the true love of my life has passed away. news reports state that he passed away last friday, but his death was not publicly announced until yesterday. syd barrett was one of the most beautiful songwriters ever. plus he used to be like totally hot. i know bitch stopped making music, but i loved that he was still around...like a hot sort of extinct dinosaur...a shy one! not like mick jagger, that dinosaur needs to hibernate on the reals...i know dinosaurs don't hiberbate but that one needs to. anyway, syd was hot even though he wasn't talking to anyone anymore. he painted and tended to his garden, which makes him even more beautiful. i am totally crying. his death makes me really sad. i totally think his music is the most romantic music i've ever heard. it totally touches my heart. and that's like really hard to do. i will love him always.
